Kazi Yetu’s ‘Morning Chai Oatmeal’ recipe using Cinnamon Spice tea

Christmas time is here and these cooler days call for something warming, so we played around with some ideas and created this yummy chai & oats recipe using our Cinnamon Spice tea blend. It was so easy and heartwarmingly delicious!

Try out our Morning Chai Oatmeal

Ingredients 

  • 1 Kazi Yetu Cinnamon Spice tea bag
  • Cinnamon garnish
  • 1.5 cups of almond milk (we love Rude Health almond milk)
  • A dash of brown sugar, honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup of oats
  • Sliced apple for topping 

How to prepare 

  1. Pour the almond milk into a pot, add Cinnamon Spice tea bag and cinnamon.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add sugar.
  4. Add 1 cup of oats.
  5. Let it cook to the level you prefer for your oats (we like them soft!)
  6. Pour into a bowl and add your apple slices.
