Hibiscus Star Mulled Tea A Perfect Valentine’s Day Mocktail 💕

Nothing says “I love you” like slowly infusing a pot of tea with spices and serving it with love and care.

This mulled Hibiscus Star mocktail recipe is comforting, indulgent, and just a little spicy- in the best way!

It’s made with our wildly delicious Hibiscus Star Herbal Blend, which already brings natural notes of star anise, ginger, and rosella hibiscus. To this, we add warming spices, fresh orange, and a touch of ginger, creating a deeply aromatic and romantic mocktail.

The best part? It’s super easy to make and takes less than ten minutes, so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the moment with someone special.

Ingredients - 2 servings (wine glass size)

  • 2 pyramid tea bags of our Hibiscus Star Herbal Blend
  • About 1⅔ cups (14 fl oz) of water
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 slices of orange (one for each glass)

How to Make It:

  1. Pour the water into a small pot and add the pyramid tea bags of Hibiscus Star Herbal Blend. Boil gently. 
  2. Once the water transforms into a deep ruby-red hibiscus colour, add the freshly grated ginger, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and orange slices.
  3. Lower the heat and allow the tea to simmer gently for 5–7 minutes. Stir occasionally while the spices slowly release their warm, comforting aroma.
  4. Remove from heat and pour into two wine glasses! Serve warm and enjoy slowly.
