🌟 Charming Gems of Stone Town

Get ready to wander through a maze of coral-stone buildings, carved wooden doors, and centuries of Swahili charm. Stone Town feels like a history book you can actually walk through, with the smell of spice in the air and stories hiding around every corner! We’re excited to take you on a tour of Stone Town and share our favorite spots that also happen to serve Kazi Yetu tea.Ā

YEOYUM Ā for a Cozy Morning

It’s the loveliest cafĆ© in Zanzibar, where you can enjoy a great breakfast or lunch and sip our Kazi Yetu tea! It’s super cozy! We recommend trying ourĀ Zanzibar Chai Black Tea for that perfect morning moment and a boost of good vibes to carry you through the day. Our chai spices are sourced from this very island, so every cup is a full-on cultural experience in a mug!

Gelato with a View at Mama Mia

Go to Mama Mia, a cozy Italian spot known for its incredible gelato you’ll be dreaming about long after. Grab a seat on the terrace and soak up the stunning beach view while you enjoy your treat!

Spice It Up at 1001 Organic

Then hop on their Spice Tour to explore the very spots where the flavors in our Zanzibar Chai and Cinnamon Spice tea blends come to life. It’s like tasting a little piece of the island’s soul!

Shop Local at Zivansh

Shop Tanzanian Goodies at East Africa Merchants Co.

If you’re into bold flavors and feel-good shopping, stop by East Africa Merchants Co. This cozy little boutique is home to organic, responsibly sourced teas (like ours), coffees, spices, chocolates, and cashews, all crafted with care and proudly made in Tanzania.

Snap Culture at Robin Battista Gallery

If you love photography, you have to check out this gallery. Robin is a local photographer who beautifully captures the soul of Zanzibar, from everyday moments to the charm of the island’s historic streets. His photos feel like a quiet, heartfelt glimpse into local life that stays with you long after you leave. It’s the kind of inspiration you didn’t know you needed!

Don’t Miss the Freddie Mercury Museum

While you’re in Stone Town, don’t forget to visit the Freddie Mercury Museum! It’s a fun little stop. Here’s a cool fact: Freddie Mercury, the legendary lead singer of Queen, was actually born right here in Zanzibar. The museum shares stories and photos from his early life. If you’re a fan of Queen, you’re going to love it!

Sunset at Upendo House

When the sun starts to dip, make your way to Upendo House. This trendy rooftop in the heart of Stone Town serves up cocktails, cozy vibes, and, of course, Kazi Yetu tea. With its infinity pool, laid-back beats, and dreamy sunsets, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer and soak it all in.

For the perfect dinner, try Emerson Spice Rooftop Restaurant

Feeling hungry for something a little magical? Treat yourself to dinner at Emerson Spice’s rooftop. Their five-course Taste Safari is full of delicious Zanzibari flavors, and the view over the Indian Ocean is just... wow. It’s the perfect mix of good food, good vibes, and that little Zanzibar sparkle.
